Camping with Pack 84

Camping has long been a tradition of Scouting history. It has survived because of its importance to the Scouting program. It adds a dimension to a youth's Scouting experience not easily found in other settings. The outdoor camping program for youth ages 5 - 11 helps develop self-confidence, leadership, citizenship as well as an understanding and appreciation of the outdoors.

The Northern Star Council offers both staffed and pack led programs at eight camp properties encompassing over 10,000 acres in Minnesota and Wisconsin. Their easily accessible Scout camps provide the facilities and programs to meet the needs and desires of our Scouts and their families.

Summer Camping

Pack 84 will soon be organizing plans for the Summer 2016 camping.  While we try to go together as a pack, families can choose to go to a camp on their own.

There are several choices for camping for Cub Scouts.  Here is a link to the Council's Camping Website, where you can learn more about the activities that boys do while camping.  The registration for camping opens in February.  We encourage all scouts to go to summer camp, where they will have an opportunity to do many activities normally not easily available to scouts.

Costs for the Cub Scout Camp is Cub Camp is $125 per Scout / $85 per Adult
Webelos II: $145 per Scout / $95 per Adult
Webelos Outpost is an additional $35 / person.
